Italian restaurant tucked away in a small alley. As soon as you sit down, you are given a bottle of tap water. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, although the music was slightly too loud for my taste. The menu is short and focused, and includes a good selection of vegetarian dishes. The service is excellent and attentive, and the dishes are served in a natural, well-timed flow. Everything we ordered was excellent. The arancini were crispy on the outside and meltingly soft inside. The focaccia topped with cheese was served with a side of tomato and basil sauce, and was very tasty. The agnolotti filled with ricotta and mascarpone were served in a tomato sauce and were extremely good, as was the white mushroom pizza. For dessert we ordered olive oil ice cream, which was essentially a delicately sweet vanilla ice cream with a teaspoon of fragrant olive oil in the center. The tiramisu had the right level of sweetness and was very tasty.

We had a really nice experience at Mąka i Woda. Went for lunch without reservation and from the moment we crossed the door a very welcoming waitress greeted us and showed us to a table. A few minutes later, another competent waiter took our order and within a 15 minutes we had been served. We ordered a couple of pizzas (margherita and bologna) and two pasta dishes (raviolo and tagliatelle). Everything was fresh and tasty, pasta included. Just to find a but (if there's one to be found), the tagliatelle may have had too much ragu sauce. Drinks, as some people have already commented, are quite expensive as compared to the average. We had a lager and it was nothing special. To sum up, three cheers for the service. Their friendliness and competence are a nice change from what is still expected in most Warsaw restaurants. That adds a lot to the nice food and place. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough cash to tip them as they deserved. So that's another reason to return!

We spent six days in Warsaw and thought of having a different food option, so we have decided to go for Italian. The restaurant has a 4.4 score of good reviews from thousands of people. It turned out to be a disaster: 1. Service is sooooo slow. No joke. 30 mins after we placed the order. The drinks r not even served 2. Prawn tagliolini has went soooo wrong. Noodles is wrong, there are peanut sprinkler on top of the noodles and a slice of lime!! Seriously? Their pizza is fair. The pasta was just a horrifying experience.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon before the lunch thankfully and didn’t get stuck in the queue we saw when leaving. The food was delicious. I had a pizza with olives and anchovies and my friend had a pasta dish which she immensely enjoyed. We also had an entree of arancini balls which were REALLY good and flan to end with. We enjoyed the dessert but the flan was different to what we’re used to as flan. The ambiance and service was spot on
