Gochu Korean Street Food

“I have had a multitude of instances with Gochu and I have given this place the benefit of the doubt. However, it’s undeniably clear that this is N O T a place where you can get good Korean food. What you see is their “KFC” - The rice was hard - The chicken was rubbery and hard to chew. - The Kimchi was not properly seasoned thus tasting like unflavored cabbage If im going to spend over 50 zl I would appreciate a dish that is on the same level as other Korean restaurants provide. This was not it. This isn’t the first time the food at Gochu has been subpar. Very disappointing experience.”

“Aweeeesome tofu bulgogi. You pick multiple sides to it. Plastic plates and cutlery. About 20-30 minute wait for it (we ordered 3 dishes, separately). Common places to sit, bustling with people. No waiters. English and Polish menu.”

“I am very surprised by the reviews. I think they are not telling the truth, and they are a little bit unfair. Believe me when I say that it was one of the best meals I have ever had! The woman at the counter was really nice. The atmosphere of the old fabric is amazing. I got my food very fast and it was nice and warm. I came a little bit after lunchtime to avoid the crowds. I will definitely come back! Try gochubox!”

“Food was pretty nice, however the staff doesn't know the Korean names of their own dishes. Had a spicy Korean pork meal, was tasty and fulfilling, with a good balance of ingredients, however the rice was boiling hot, unlike the rest of the meal, making it difficult to enjoy and nearly dangerous as you don't expect one part to be lot warmer than the rest which was at ideal temperature, nearly burned myself. However enjoyable.”
