“This place is truly unique. You feel as if you’re literally stepping into someone’s flat — seated in their living room and served whatever’s cooking that day. During our visit, the dish of the day was chicken schnitzel topped with melted cheese. It came with kopytka (Polish gnocchi), seasoned tomato slices, and a side salad — either a creamy cucumber salad or a lettuce-and-dill salad with cream. Be prepared to wait a while — in our case, it took around 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The dining area isn’t the cleanest, but once the food arrives, it’s a completely different story — absolutely delicious and hearty. There’s also a small friendly dog wandering around, adding to the cozy, home-like atmosphere. The portion of meat was generous, and the whole experience felt like having dinner at a Polish grandma’s house. The owner is a bit eccentric but very friendly. Overall, it’s a great, truly local experience for a reasonable price — about 35 PLN per person. Cash only.”
